Argentina is in the 2026 World Cup final — and Olé already published the book to mark the moment
Olé launches a special book covering Argentina's golden era with Messi and Scaloni, from Qatar to the 2026 World Cup final. It dropped this Thursday, July 23.
The World Cup isn't even over and Argentina has already become a book. Olé announced the release of "Amor a la Scaloneta", a special edition covering the most glorious cycle in the history of the Argentine national team — from Scaloni's debut in a friendly against Guatemala in 2018 all the way to the 2026 World Cup final.
The timing is no coincidence. La Scaloneta has reached the final once again, piling up titles that few national teams have managed in such a short span: World Cup champions in Qatar, back-to-back Copa América winners, and Finalissima victors. And Messi, of course, as the thread running through all of it.
According to Olé, the book dedicates a special chapter to the victory over England — featuring goals from Enzo Fernández and Lautaro Martínez — and to the famous Malvinas flag that swept through the stands. It also tells the story of how Messi managed to arrive at this tournament in extraordinary form, revisiting his journey through previous World Cups.
The Scaloneta's global reach is another chapter of its own: from Times Square to Bangladesh, through Buenos Aires and every city where the squad played.
Golmetria's model placed Argentina with a 68% chance of reaching the final — a number reality has already confirmed. For the title, the model's probability stands at 6.9%, while the market is pricing in around 7.5% implied chance.
The book is out this Thursday, July 23. For anyone who is Argentine — or simply loves football — only one question remains: will the next chapter end with the trophy in Messi's hands?
